Extendable tables for small spaces

An extendable table stays compact on ordinary days and provides more table space when guests arrive. Choose a dining table with extensions, a narrow console or a coffee table that also serves as a dining table.

Which type fits your routine?

An extendable dining table suits everyday meals. A console stands against the wall when closed and opens for guests. A transforming coffee table combines the sitting and dining areas. The Altacom collection includes these different types; mechanisms and sizes vary by model.

Measure with chairs in place

The maximum tabletop length tells only part of the story. Allow room to pull chairs back and walk around the table. Check the leg positions and where separate extension leaves will be stored. Compare the closed and extended dimensions on each product page before choosing.

Surfaces, frames and maintenance

Finishes such as wood, melamine and ceramic depend on the model. Consider daily wear, the weight of moving parts and the care instructions. Discuss available finishes and how the table works with your chairs during a consultation.
