Their vision is that only those who are given opportunities can seize them. That’s why TAJO organizes interactive workshops on Saturdays to help young people develop self-awareness, broaden their perspective on what the future holds, and expand their local networks. They started with 45 youths in Sint-Amandsberg, but this was just the first step. Today, TAJO supports over two hundred socially vulnerable young people aged 10 to 14 in Ghent and Kortrijk, providing them with future prospects (under the motto: “You can do this too”), boosting their self-confidence, and connecting them with a local network of experts (our guest instructors). Through this, TAJO aims to equip them against demotivation, school dropout, delinquency, youth unemployment, and radicalization. Year after year, their work continues to expand. At Nurban Space, we consider this an important initiative and are proud to sponsor it, with a portion of the proceeds from every module sold going to TAJO.
